Mask policy from March 13, 2022…

Dear Mt. Zion Family,

As the number of COVID-19 cases have steadily declined, and in light of the recent changes in the state and county regulations along with current CDC guidelines, the Re-entering Well Task Force recommends making masks optional during the indoor Worship Services beginning Sunday March 13. The same protocol applies to Youth & Adult Sunday School. Children’s Sunday School and Nursery will continue to mask.

Our nursery is open as of Sunday, March 13 for infants and children younger than five years old. We continue to be sensitive to the concerns of parents as we live through the coronavirus pandemic. In that spirit, we want to let you know that the nursery supervisor, Betty Routh, and nursery attendants Amy Cornell and Caitlin O’Keefe are fully vaccinated.

As we have learned to move, adjust, and evolve during this pandemic, we are very thankful for your understanding and commitment to create the safest environment for those with medical conditions and for the little ones who are not yet vaccinated. The Re-entering Well Task Force will continue to monitor any changes and promptly communicate them with you.

In the meantime, as we gather for worship in the sanctuary, we encourage you to sit only in the pews marked with a star to allow some space for social distancing.

Thank you for your love and support to the work and ministries of Mt. Zion,

~ Re-Entering Well Task Force
