Dear Mt. Zion Family & Friends,

Every summer, students and professionals alike sign up for internships. Why? Because they know that if they want to grow, they can’t just keep doing what they’ve always done! They need new rhythms, new mentors, new ideas, and new habits to get to the next level.

This summer, we’re doing the exact same thing with our faith.

We’re treating the next nine weeks as a Summer Internship with Jesus. We’re stepping into the lab to learn the rhythms that actually sustain a life. This isn’t about checking boxes or adding more chores to your list; it’s about learning the "trade" of being a human being who is deeply connected to God. We’re going to spend these nine weeks training in the basics, from how to be still and listen, to how to serve and give in ways that leave us full rather than empty. We’re moving past the "theory" of religion and into the hands-on, daily practice of an apprentice.
