Teach Us To Pray
Dear Mt. Zion Family & Friends,
“I’m not sure I know how to pray.” It’s a sentence I hear often—and maybe you’ve said it yourself. When someone brings this up, I usually respond with something like, “Just share what’s on your heart,” or “Prayer is simply a conversation with God.” Sometimes I’ll add, “Prayer is more about listening than talking.” The truth is, prayer can feel mysterious, personal, even intimidating—and yet Jesus didn’t leave us guessing. He gave us words, structure, and a vision of intimacy with God through what we now call The Lord’s Prayer.
Starting Sunday, May 4, join us for a new sermon series exploring this most beloved and well-known prayer. Together, we’ll discover how it tells the story of God’s coming kingdom—and how it shapes our own hearts to love God and neighbor more deeply. And in the end, Jesus will Teach Us To Pray.
