Dear Mt. Zion Family & Friends,
In a world of soundbites and constant noise, words can start to feel cheap. We say them quickly and forget them just as fast. But in the languages of Scripture, words carried weight. They were not just labels for ideas; they were windows into the very character and activity of God.
In our new series, More Than Words, we will explore several powerful Hebrew and Greek words that reveal how God works among us: Steadfast Love that refuses to let go, Spirit that breathes life into dry places, Grace that restores the undeserving, Power that transforms weakness, and Salvation that heals and makes whole. These are not just theological terms. They are the ways God continues to move in our lives today.
More Than Words, starting June 7th, is an invitation to move beyond the language of religion and into the experience of relationship. It is for those tired of "church talk" and hungry for the living, breathing, moving power of the Divine.
