VIM Mission Trip to Mississippi - November 3rd to 11th
The Mississippi Conference has decided to keep open Camp Love in Gulfport due to great needs still remaining unmet after Katrina. We are planning a trip to Mississippi for the week of November 5-9. To keep costs low we expect that most or all participants will travel by car or van, leaving MD on Saturday, November 3 and returning on Sunday, November 11. People of all skill levels are welcome. Young Adult Mission Trip – January 1-7, 2012
Join the Young Adult Mission Trip Team! The trip to aid Katrina relief in Mississippi is scheduled for January 1-7 and is open for young adults (ages 18-30). If you would like to go, step forward and join the team. No experience necessary. Reservations are made on a first come first serve basis. The deadline for registration is October 22. Spaghetti Dinner
Help support our two Katrina relief teams going to Mississippi in April, and enjoy Cajun (or regular) spaghetti, salad, and dessert.
Mission Mississippi 2011 – April 17-23
Start making your plans to join the Mission Mississippi 2011 team. The Volunteers in Mission (VIM) trip to Mississippi is open for adults and youth (14 years and older). If you have been thinking about going, step forward for the next trip and join the team. No experience is necessary. Mission Opportunities
At Mt. Zion there are opportunities to serve in all areas of our mission and outreach program. Volunteers from Mt. Zion reach out to help the homeless and suffering, and to visit the sick, shut-in, and jailed. Consider joining the Missions Committee. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of most months at 7:30 P.M. in the library. Read more »
